Call for Entries: Form and Fiber Exhibit
NEW THIS YEAR – Flag Wool is excited to announce a new opportunity to showcase textile arts at Coconino Center for the Arts in conjunction with the festival! Accepted work will be displayed at CCA from April 12 – June 7, 2025 as part of the exhibition Form and Fiber: Handmade Textile Art.
Artists working in any textile arts medium (basketry, crochet, felting, handspinning, knitting, needlework, surface design, weaving, etc.) are invited to submit their work for consideration. The exhibit is an opportunity to share and celebrate the unique and meaningful work being made by our fiber arts community. We invite textile artists to enter pieces that highlight the best of their creativity and skill.
All work entered will be judged by our friends at the Fiber Artists of Northern Arizona Guild, to ensure that the exhibit is a showcase of quality work, and represents a variety of techniques in the space available. For any questions about the exhibit or the submission process, please contact Judith Lukas, FANA president at [email protected]
There is no entry fee to submit your work. All accepted work will be professionally displayed in Coconino Center for the Arts, Flagstaff's most recognized arts venue, from April 12 – June 7. Accepted work may be for sale, with sales handled though CCA. Please note that CCA retains a 30% commission on any artwork sold, and work may be priced to take this into account. There will not be prizes awarded.
Entries are due by February 1, 2025 and artists will be notified of the status of their submissions by March 15. Artists are responsible for delivering or shipping accepted artwork to Coconino Center for the Arts between March 31 and April 10, 2025, and covering the associated costs.
