Learn to make wet felted slippers from wool. I will teach you how to layer the wool, how to make a measurement and a model, how to weigh the wool and explain to you the steps of making slippers. The most important thing – I will show HOW and help you with your slippers. We will work together through the whole process, even putting rubber on the soles for a perfect finish.
Experience level: Some felting experience recommended.
Materials Fee: $35
Students should bring: Scissors and two large old towels, as well as any felting tools you have such as bubble wrap, pool noodles, sander, washboard, etc. Wool is included in the materials fee. If you want to use your own wool instead, you will need about 7 oz. The instructor will get in touch with students before class to determine what size slippers you want to make and what color wool you would like.
