About the Instructor
Kelly Bonny lived in Tokyo, Japan, where she studied Temari under her Master Sensei, Neelu. She earned her Intermediate and Advanced certifications while in Japan. Since returning back to the United States in 2019, she has continued learning from her Sensei. In the Spring of 2021, she submitted 5 advanced balls chosen by her Sensei to the Japan Temari Association. She received her Teaching Certification in July 2021 and she can now be called Sensei. She finds Temari to be a very beautiful art, which brings her great joy in teaching, discovering new techniques and tricks, creating designs, using new color schemes.
