About the Instructor
As a fiber artist living next to Mono Lake in California, Elysia Fischbach is constantly inspired by its magical presence, its sunrises and sunsets, and its ever changing colors throughout the seasons. She is frequently drawn to create weavings of Mono Lake and other wonders of the Eastern Sierra! She also enjoys letting the fibers guide her by creating free form fiber art pieces. Weaving allows her to experiment and create with infinite color palettes. She loves creating weavings of all sizes using different types of fibers, full of color and texture, by engaging in a free flow state of mind. She has been teaching weaving in the Eastern Sierra for the last few years. Her motto is “Always weave joy and adventure into your life!”
